v0.3.1
LatestReleased 10 October 2026- Improvements to automatic updates
Beta releases
The next release, before it is final. For testing: it may still have problems.
v3.0.24-beta.1
BetaReleased 22 October 2026Version 3.0.24
- The Linux app now comes for ARM computers too (such as Raspberry Pi and ARM laptops): Debian and Ubuntu (.deb), Fedora (.rpm) and Arch packages, for regular PCs and for ARM. If installing on an ARM device stopped with "libgtk-3-0 but it is not installable", install the ARM64 package.
- Windows now installs on ARM laptops (such as Snapdragon) too. Windows has a "universal" installer that installs on any computer and is smaller than the old one, and the Mac gets half-size installers for Apple Silicon and Intel next to its universal one. The download page suggests the right one itself and still offers each processor's own.
If macOS refuses to open the Mac installer, right-click the file in Finder and choose Open.
v3.0.23-beta.1
BetaReleased 22 October 2026Version 3.0.23
- If your internet shows a different IP to servers inside and outside Iran, a paid service with a changing IP (desktop and Android) no longer registers just one of them: the app notices it, registers both IPs with Shecan and does not use encrypted DNS (DoH and DoT) on such a network. The "IP registration" page says so too.
- On the computer, sending a message to support (or replying in a request) no longer says "message not sent" when it was in fact sent.
- The Android app is much smaller: Cafe Bazaar, Myket and the site give each phone a package made for it, so downloads and updates finish sooner.
- On the computer, the home page's "Status" column now scrolls, the banner sits right under the cards and stays when "Apps in use" or "Shecan servers" is opened.
If macOS refuses to open the Mac installer, right-click the file in Finder and choose Open.
v3.0.22-beta.1
BetaReleased 20 October 2026Version 3.0.22
- On Android too, if your network or internet provider does not let DNS be changed (or plain DNS does not reach Shecan for any reason), a paid service in DNS mode no longer fails to connect: the app notices it, turns on "Encrypted DNS (DoH)" under "IP registration", says so in a short message and connects again that way. Choosing a way on that page puts your choice in its place.
If macOS refuses to open the Mac installer, right-click the file in Finder and choose Open.
